How we pick
Every guide answers one buying question with a direct recommendation. Our rules:
- Direct answer first. The recommendation is in the first paragraph, with the reason. No burying picks under 3,000 words.
- Merit before money. Some links earn us a commission and some don't — each is labeled on the page. A tool never ranks higher because it pays us more, and we include non-affiliate tools whenever they're the right answer.
- Trade-offs stated. Every pick lists what's not great about it. A recommendation without trade-offs is an ad.
- Pricing is indicative. We show approximate entry pricing and always defer to the vendor's current pricing page. Promos and tiers change faster than any review site can track.
- Opinions, not guarantees. Guides are editorial opinions based on public information and product testing where possible. Your results depend on your use case — verify fit before buying.
Questions or corrections: open the vendor's page for canonical facts. If something here is outdated, it will be corrected in the next refresh cycle — guides show their last-updated date.
